Join us for a special screening of We Can Be Heroes, in association with Sheffield DocFest and Grimm & Co for October Half Term. Tickets are just £1 each and all proceeds will be donated to charity. This life-affirming documentary, directed by Carina Mia Wong and Alex Simmons, explores a unique live-action role-playing (LARP) camp in upstate New York. It offers neurodivergent, queer, and ‘nerdy’ teenagers a safe space for self-discovery and expression. Through role-playing, these young people confront their inner challenges, find a sense of belonging, and embrace their true selves. A powerful celebration of identity, inclusion, and the healing power of imagination.
